Ratko Lalic

Ratko Lalić, a Serbian painter, was born on February 6, 1944, in Dolipolje near Visoko. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1975, where he also completed his postgraduate studies under the mentorship of Professor Stojan Ćelić.

He was a full professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo until the outbreak of war, and from 1992 to 1994, he taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cetinje. Later, he taught drawing and painting at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Banja Luka.

Ratko Lalić lived and worked in Belgrade, where he passed away on August 8, 2023.
